Meet Our Founder

Benedict E. Mbecha, Expert-Comptable Founder & Managing Partner

Benedict E. Mbecha is a dynamic and respected leader in the accounting profession, with a career dedicated to fostering business success. As a fully accredited Chartered Accountant, his expertise is firmly rooted in the intricacies of the Cameroonian financial and regulatory environment.

His vision for Etiendem CPA Cameroon is uniquely shaped by his dual experience leading successful accounting practices in both Buea, Cameroon, and Virginia, USA. This international perspective provides our clients with a distinct advantage: the firm combines global best practices in client service and technology with a deep, specialized mastery of OHADA standards and Cameroonian tax law.

Before founding the firm, Benedict E. Mbecha graduated from the Oxford Brookes University with a Bsc. in Applied Accounting, and the University of London with a distinction in MSc in Professional Accountancy. He is also a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and hold active CPA licenses in Virginia, New York, and Ohio. He has held audit and accounting positions in leading national and multi-national firms and companies like Akintola Williams & Co, Diageo, and PwC. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and is dedicated to providing the strategic financial guidance that helps local businesses navigate challenges and seize opportunities.
